For the normal DNA migration with a current between 40 and 90 volts fill the container about up to 2mm the gel level, so that even a buffer area above arises.
For a quick DNA migration with high voltage.
140-150 Volt fill the chamber up to the specified fill line.
Fault currents are like this avoided. The buffer area overlying has a cooling function (only for mini, midi and midi large).
