The "Mini" series horizontal electrophoresis chambers are compact systems for the electrophoretic separation of charged biomolecules, particularly DNA fragments.

The separation principle is based on the migration of charged molecules through a porous gel matrix under the influence of an electric field.

The gel chambers are supplied with a gel tray, a gel casting stand, and two combs.

Thanks to their compact design and relatively low material requirements, these mini-electrophoresis chambers are particularly well-suited for routine analyses - such as checking PCR products and restriction digests, as well as determining the size of DNA fragments.
