PCR Worksation - SafeCab

After using the device, the interior is intensively irradiated with UV light (254 nm) for 30 minutes. This is done safely for the employees, as no harmful UV radiation can be emitted through the UV-safe pleximaterial. The UV light is switched off either automatically by the timer or immediately when one of the side doors is opened. In order to ensure convenient access to the interior, the doors extend beyond the corners of the unit both at the sides and at the front. The SafeCab can be easily removed from the base plate. This makes cleaning easier.

Due to the strong front windscreen, the SafeCab also offers the best user protection when working with hazardous substances (e.g. radioactive 32P).

Inside the SafeCab there is a practical shelf which can be adjusted to two heights and can hold pipettes, tips and racks. In the upper position, samples and other materials can ideally be subjected to UV decontamination.
